MAP Micro Economy

Operating a small business offers students early exposure to a wide variety of topics, including marketing, accounting, social psychology, economics, and product development. Running a business also develops important life skills and mindsets such as leadership, planning, communication, collaboration, and many more.

Our Adolescent Program students plan, operate, and manage the financial accounting and reporting for business ventures. Past businesses have included produce sales, a coffee service, and arts and crafts sales.

This year, the MAP has assumed leadership of our Pizza Wednesday lunch that is offered to all classrooms throughout the school. However, they have many other plans in store for this year!

Please check back soon for details on MAP’s new micro economy businesses!
