Compensation is competitive and depending on experience, and healthcare benefits are provided for full-time positions. Employees with children may receive discounted childcare. General Description for Pre-elementary Teaching Positions
We are seeking a toddler-level Montessori teacher to join our expanding school community. Applicants should either be Montessori certified or completing certification within the next 6 months.
Our teachers have a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy, thorough knowledge of child development, and the classroom management and communication skills to nurture independence, creativity, and confidence in young children. Candidates willing to demonstrate a long-term commitment (>1 year) are strongly preferred.
Candidates should be career-minded, dedicated, professional, possess a high level of integrity, and be able to successfully collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration.
Our school offers a dynamic and progressive environment where the professional growth and realization of personal goals of all staff are supported and encouraged.
Since 1984, our community has offered an excellent educational environment to students from infants to eighth grade. We are now looking to expand to a second location.
Qualifications

- A Bachelor’s degree is preferable, as is some prior experience.
Candidates must:
- Pass a background test and provide the school with evidence of a TB test.
- Must have the physical capacity to work with young children, including, but not limited to, bending, minor lifting, and working on the floor.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Elementary and Adolescent Program Teaching Positions
In addition to the requirements above, all applicants for elementary and adolescent program teaching positions must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher and fulfill curriculum development prerequisites.
