What a fabulous Field Day yesterday!!! Starting with the Children’s House, then staff challenges midway, and wrapping with high energy activities with the upper grades, it was one for the books!

Mr. James, our music director, deejayed the whole event and kept up the mood with motivating music tracks. Different stations the teams rotated to were a modified dunk tank (a fave!), corn hole rivalries, water balloons, hula hoops, giant beach ball soccer, sack and 3-legged races, and so much more — and all were a huge success!

They were manned by cheerleading teachers and parent volunteers, despite the 90+ degree day! A huge thanks to all who made it possible, esp. Ms. Jessica and Ms. Linda who planned the whole delightful day!

One highlight was the “Staff Superlatives” event the whole school voted on that brought great laughs! And the teacher tug-o-war and chocolate pie-eating contest were both a hoot, too! You could hardly hear the time-keeper for all the hollerin’ of support going on!

We’re sure there were record amounts of water and popsicles consumed to keep it going! But best of all, not one person escaped happy exhaustion by day’s end, and EVERYONE was guaranteed a great night’s sleep!
