Our dedicated faculty and staff are the foundation of our school, so we always appreciate hearing from enthusiastic, accomplished people who are interested in working with us. Compensation is competitive and depending on experience, and healthcare benefits are provided for full-time positions. Employees with children may receive discounted childcare. Certified Children's House Teacher

Certified Children’s House Teacher

We are seeking a Montessori Certified Children’s House teacher to join our expanding school community.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy, thorough knowledge of child development, and a proven track record of the classroom management and communication skills needed to nurture independence, creativity, and confidence in young children.

Candidates should be career-minded, dedicated, professional, possess a high level of integrity and able to successfully collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration. Candidates willing to demonstrate a long-term commitment (+1 year) for this position are strongly preferred.

Our school offers a dynamic and progressive environment where the professional growth and realization of personal goals of all staff are supported and encouraged.

For over 30 years our community has offered an excellent educational environment to students from infants to eighth grade. We are now looking to expand to a second location.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, or equivalent experience.
  • Candidates must:

  • Be certified through a MACTE approved Montessori education program and should have at least two years experience in a classroom setting.
  • Pass a background test, and provide the school with evidence of a TB test.
  • Must have the physical capacity to work with young children, including but not limited to bending, minor lifting, and working on the floor.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Toddler Teacher

Toddler Teacher

We are seeking a Toddler level Montessori teacher to join our expanding school community. Applicants should either be Montessori certified or completing certification within the next 6 months.

Our teachers have a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy, thorough knowledge of child development, and the classroom management and communication skills to nurture independence, creativity, and confidence in young children. Classroom Assistant

We are seeking a Classroom Assistant to work with children ages two to six.

We seek individuals with a general understanding of Montessori philosophy, good knowledge of child development, and demonstrable classroom management and communication skills needed to nurture independence, creativity, and confidence in young children.

Candidates should be career-minded, dedicated, professional, and possess a high level of integrity. Candidates willing to demonstrate a long-term commitment (+1 year) for this position are strongly preferred.
