Volunteer Opportunities
As a parent you are essential to the success and vigor of The New School Montessori Center. Your involvement in the school is the one of the best things you can do to support our classrooms, and in turn, your child’s academic success.
There are many ways to get involved. Below is a list of current volunteer needs in addition to general volunteer opportunities. Please remember to record your time using our volunteer data entry form as soon as you have completed an activity.

General Volunteer Needs
Our volunteer needs tend to change throughout the year based on classroom projects, school events, and teachers’ needs. Below is a list of our current volunteer needs.
- Listen to children read (ages 3 to 9)
- Office help: assist with filling parent folders on Mondays or Tuesday mornings
- Provide help in locating supplies and materials for the classroom
