Beth Nathison, Assistant Teacher

Beth Nathison came to TNS after teaching for 8 years in the Wake County Public School System, where she specialized in middle grades language arts and social studies. Beth was instrumental in implementing a literacy program at Lufkin Road Middle School that encouraged an interdisciplinary approach to reading. Beth graduated from Ohio’s Miami University, with an undergraduate degree in Communications, and then from Ohio’s Wright State University with a Master’s degree in English Education. Beth and her husband Max have four children between the ages of 2 and 10. In her spare time she enjoys photography, crafts, and watching her kids’ many athletic pursuits.
